I had a build 210 installation on NT4 but during the transition to a new
location involving a new profile, 210 was first unusable then uninstallable
then purged from my system (all visible files and registry entries deleted).
So there's nothing obvious left of 210 to remove, but I can't install 211
either. Is there some magic registry entry or msi config file that I should
edit or delete to be able to proceed with 211?
System - NT4 SP5. 211 installer stops with the following two dialogs
showing:
ActiveState ActivePython 2.1.0 Build 211 Setup
Welcome to the ActiveState ActivePython 2.1.0 Build 211 Setup Wizard <etc>
Installer Information
This product cannot be installed. Please remove ActivePython 2.1 Build 210
first, and then proceed with the install.
