I'm trying to use RecordSelect plugin as autocomplete for one of the associations.
It works but whenever search for something a new window is open to http://server/app/things/browse?search=a&commit=search If I select one of the autocomplete entries it renders a new page instead of just putting that information into the AS field: http://server/app/things/select/1 Sets I had gone through: 1. Installed paginator, record_select, active_scaffold (all latest masters from github) 2. I have added these to my layout: <%= javascript_include_tag :defaults %> <%= active_scaffold_includes %> <%= record_select_includes %> 3. Added the following to the controller in charge of the association record_select :per_page => 5, :search_on => 'whatever' 4. Added resource route map.resources :things, :collection => {:browse => :get}, :member => {:select => :post} 5.
