Hi Sergio,

Tried this in both Firefox and IE.
Firefox versions 3.5.10 and 3.6.4
IE 7.0.6001.18000

The record_select field opens right away presenting paginated list of
all association record without me even having to click or type
anything into the field.

If I type anything it taken me to a new page with just the results
form (which should be rendered as an AJAX partial and not a new
page).
If I click on any of the records presented it takes me to a blank page
instead of filling in the thing's name/id into the activescaffold
field.

I do not have any overrides on this field. Just set form_ui type
to :record_select
