Yes, mySQL has the ability to define foreign keys, which allows you
to RELATE tables together. It does lack some of the nicer SQL
features tho, like correlated subqueries, transactions and stored
procedures. I believe they added transactions and stored procs to
4.0. However, it is a great database to work with.

I remember a discussion a while ago that debated whether or not MYSQL
is a
true relational database. I cannot seem to find that discussion in

archives.

At risk of stirring up the debate again (which may not necessarily be

bad thing), can someone tell me if MySQL is or is not a true
relational
database? The last discussion concluded that it isn't. Don't remember
why
though.
