AFAIK, Unless you are using a frameset (visible or hidden) where you can
persist the object, I don't see a way to use the OCX as it appears to be
intended. If the frameset is visible, then any time that the user refreshes
the browser, the OBJECT will re-initialize.

Subject: Running an OCX Control using OBJECT

Hi

Have inherited an OCX control designed to interface with a key {dongle]
plugged into the back of any number of client PCs. It's there to control
the amount of time an associated program can been used. The control has
been tested successfully server-side. My problem is getting it to run
client-side from a web page using the OBJECT tag, as I've never done this
before.

You can assume that the client has the OCX installed. Can anyone help?

Thanks in advance.
