I can't verify this but it was my understanding that the later
versions of IE could accept some really large length of
querystring - up around 4000 or 8000 characters.

All versions of Netscape were around 255.

You could write a page that dynamic creates a page link
with 100 parameters or so, redirects and the target page
lists the parameters.... ;)
