"strFileLocation" was defined earlier in the code. File actually is created, but write does not work.
Confused..... bob -----Original Message----- From: Bostrup, Tore [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] Sent: Wednesday, October 09, 2002 11:10 AM To: ActiveServerPages Subject: RE: 'ASP 0177 : 800401f3' works fine on NT4 errors on 2000 You must set strFileLocation. I would also recommend that you specify Overwrite:=True (or False) in the call to CreateTextFile - the default I get when testing as a .vbs and the default indicated by (an earlier version of?) the documentation do not agree. My .vbs script overwrites without this parameter, but documentation states that it defaults to NOT overwrite existing files. Does create file fine, but empty. Is WriteLine wrong?
