Hello Robert > http://www.aspalliance.com/nothingmn/default.aspx?aid=2
I already used that specific code for the image download, but it fails on the Macintosh OS. Another pretty annoying issue is, when a user is prompted to download e.g. a 10 MB large JPEG file but declines by clicking 'Cancel' in the requester, the server still sends the 10 MB file to the users' thread in the IIS. This affects subsequent page loads from the user, because no additional pages will be sent to the user before the previous 10 MB image thread has been 'flushed'. I'm not quite sure if this explains the scenario, but basically a user declining to download an image experiences quite long waits before he can click on other pages from the website. I believe the solution would be a continously check while downloading the file, but I'm not quite sure if this is possible. Any ideas on this problem?
