I build for IE5.5, test on IE6, NN6.2, NN7, Moz 1.1 & Opera 6. I give
NN4.7 a quick whizz, just to see what a cock-up it makes of the simplest
CSS, but no longer code for it unless the client insists. Most of my sites
now display a "it's time you got upgraded" message for those who visit
with NN4 or IE4.

Oh, and they're all installed on the same machine, except IE6,
because(thanks, Microsoft - not) you can't have multiple versions of IE on
one PC.

...unless you know differently?

In terms of browser stats, I find the best approach is to use the visitor
stats from my previous sites - at least it's real world if not so
comprehensive.
