Good Morning all, I'm sorry this is definitely an issue for a Java group, but my Java newsgroup posts have been unsuccessful, and let's admit it this might be the most active - productive group on the net, (well and I'm desperate.:)
Problem: I am using a Richtext editor on a website that will go live on November 10th and discovered Friday last week that my client that will be training her employees can't "Click" or edit any information in the box of this editor. It acts like it's seeing a webpage, not a editable box, where the hyperlinks execute instead of being editable, and no changes can be made inside the box. The software I'm using is viewable on http://richtext.sourceforge.net/ The demo is on http://richtext.cs.ramesys.com/rt-0.3/help/samples/test_embedded.asp The laptop is a Dell Latitude running windows 98 and I'm ALMOST sure it's running IE 6.0 (I had to make sure it was running 5.5 or better, but it's not in my notes so I'm waiting for her phone call to be sure I checked.) The Dell uses a touchpad mouse, and I attached an external mouse but no go. If anyone might be able to reproduce this issue and resolve it or know where I might start trouble shooting I would really owe you one.
