Sarah:

At this point, Ohio State University Archives is theoretically the place where
our policies/procedures are archived. And I know that our practice of
archiving is not consistent across the university. I am the archivist for HR
policies, and I don't have much of a system. Ohio State is currently looking
at document management systems. Steve Lind
([email protected]<mailto:[email protected]>) from the Office of the Chief
Information Officer is leading the project and Laura Herbst
([email protected]<mailto:[email protected]>) from Human Resources is involved.
We don't currently use a document management system for policies, and, we will
be adopting one in the next 2-3 years.

Let me know if you want me to connect with them in any way for you.

Subject: [acupa-l] Archives

Greetings. I have been asked to become the archivist for university procedures
(we don't have a centralized University Archives). Are any of you currently
performing this role? If so, can share your system? I'm getting caught up in
the minutiae of a dual paper/electronic system. I'm convinced I am overthinking
this.

Best,
