Anu: At this point, our medical center policies are located behind the medical center firewall, so only medical center employees have access to them. We are in the process of evaluating as to whether or not we will continue with this approach. We have a lot of duplication of work as we translate "university-wide" policies to "medical center" policies. It is complicated by the fact that we don't separate policies and procedures into separate documents here at Ohio State. And - there is reluctance to bring them out from behind the firewall from some of the medical center staff.
I'm interested in what others have to say.
