I wasn't sure if you meant really permanent closure or closure for longer than 
just a typical snowstorm.  We do have two policies for closures longer than 5 
days - like if a tornado struck and destroyed the campus and we had to close

Could anyone share a copy of a sample policy for permanent closure of a 
university - preferably public. 

We are of course not closing the university, but it was suggested having such a 
policy was common (or perhaps required?) practice and if so we wanted to see 
what others have in place.
