Hi Lynda

The University of Western Sydney's Emeritus Professor Policy allows the
procedures for conferring the title to be followed in advance for a current
member of staff approaching retirement:

Kind regards

Subject: [acupa-l] Emeritus Policy Question

Hello Everyone!

Here is my question for those of you who have policies for Faculty/Staff
Emeritus:

Do you require a waiting period between the time the employee retires and the
nomination for Emeritus Status? (Note - we are a community college that does
not have tenured faculty)

Thank you & hope to see many of you in Orlando at the annual ACUPA Conference
in a few weeks!
