Hi Eunice,

We do not have a policy here at ODU, but we are in the process of coming up
with health directive that I am not sure at this point will elevate to the
policy level. We had similar directive a few years ago with the Bird-Flu and
then another directive in 2001 on handling mail after 9/11. These directives
were issued by the President and posted prominently on the homepage of our
website, but not on the policy website.

Subject: [acupa-l] Document types in addition to policies and procedures

All:

We are looking at issuing official guidance/travel requirements related to the
Ebola Virus Disease (EBV) that are consistent with CDC requirements. At Ohio
State, we only have "policies" which also contain our procedures.

I'm wondering how many of you have things like "presidential memos" or other
types of administrative documents that are required but don't merit a long
standing policy. And that are hosted on the policy website, or other websites.

What types of documents do you have, if any; how do you manage/catalog/track
such documents; and where do you host them?

Thanks in advance for your advice!

-Eunice
