Hello Alan, and Happy Friday!

The University of New Mexico has a section on "Flexible Schedules" in our
policy UAP 3300 ("Paid Time"):
http://policy.unm.edu/university-policies/3000/3300.html. It basically depends
on meeting business needs of the department and supervisory approval, and also
encourages flexibility for use of public transportation.

We do not have a policy on nursing mothers, but our UNM Women's Resource Center
has a "Breastfeeding Support Program" for students and employees, which
includes a network of campus lactation stations and other support. A link to
the program on their website is here:
http://women.unm.edu/what-we-offer/support-programs/breastfeeding-support-program.html.
The website also describes US and New Mexico legislation regarding
breastfeeding.

I have been asked to do some research in two policy areas:

          Telecommuting / Teleworking

          Nursing Mothers

If you have anything in place that has been working for you in either or both
of these areas, I would appreciate knowing about it.

Thanks,

Alan

P.S. I thought the sessions at the Orlando conference were very beneficial to
me as a new kid. I also really enjoyed getting to know some of you, and wish
there had been time to chat in person with more of you.
