Subject: RE:[acupa-l] Art Collection policy & procedure

Meg,

We relied heavily on professional organization's templates for collection
management plans in writing a draft policy covering non-library University
collections last year (art and fossil/geologic specimens, largely, since living
creatures were exempted). I can send you some of that research directly if
you're interested.

Subject: [acupa-l] Art Collection policy & procedure

Hello everyone,

As an institution we currently do not have a formal policy or procedure in
place governing gifts made to the College's art collection and there is
increased discussion of the need to have one developed. I would love to see
some examples to get a jump start on this process if you wouldn't mind sharing
what your institution has in place.

Thanks to all of you for your continued assistance.
