Theresa, We recently approved a new standard on accessibility, which is written in support of our policy on Equal Opportunity, Equal Access and Affirmative Action. It addresses accessibility for all forms of electronic communications and will go into effect June 1. Since it’s not yet in effect, it’s not posted online, but the approved Word versions of the standard and the FAQs (where you’ll find sample language for software RFPs) are attached.

Fast forward to today, and the policy is due for an update on our regular 5 year rotation. This time, however, our faculty committee supports adding language about ADA compliance. Does anyone have ADA compliance as part of a general software policy? Or is compliance its own policy (we aren't there yet)?
