I have two DCs. They are both at Windows 2003 Standard SP1. The domain is running at domain functional level 2003. When creating a new DC to join the domain does it also have to be at Windows 2003 SP1 or can I create it at SP2? Also, can the new server be R2 when the previous servers were not at R2. Any recommendations for a freeware log analyzer/trending tool? Something that reads the IIS logs, and graphs/reports on various things like numbers of users, referrers, etc. There seem to be a ton of them out there, it’d just be my luck to pick out one that was a spyware to test.
