The truth of the matter is that you can very easily create an automated task at logoff or shutdown that copies all of the users' ie temp files to a remote centralized location (Big Brother's file share somewhere).
As a matter of fact, I have see this done during a login script (copies the temp files to file share, then deletes the local folder contents)...Depending on the size of the folder, this could add 5-10 seconds on to the time it takes to logon/logoff. There are settings in the IEAK that will allow tweaks like this but newer browsers might have different settings... ----- Original Message ----- From: "Dennis Rogov" [[email protected]] Sent: 03/20/2009 11:31 AM AST To: "Active Directory Admin Issues" <[email protected]> Subject: Environment Variable Settings Hi Guys I have a group of users who need to have their IE temp settings moved..
