From Richard James of SDJC Please, can you have a look at this small part of a sycamore branch I found last week - picture at http://flickr.com/photos/sxbrc_charles/2259655691/ . The whole tree was like this with the ends all 'flattened' and multi-budded. The sycamore was growing in a hedge, and was standing about 15 feet high, with no other trees of that height, and nothing against it. It was just growing!
Do you know what may cause this please?
