it's a business decision, and probably has many factors behind it.  you
and i might think it unwise, but 'insanity' is a bit in the weeds.

not at all.  the vendors are more than happy to sell them CGNs, and
other NATs of many flavors.  i just don't like the result.

but, as i said, we have demonstrated time and again that we can not
seriously affect the tragically slow deployment of ipv6.  so i do not
make decisions based on changing that.
