Dear Sir/ Ma’am, Indian Institute of Social Sciences and Folklore Research is organizing a Four Day International Conference on Intangible Cultural Heritage (My Cultural Identity – My Sustainable Development) in joint collaboration with Indian National Commission for cooperation with UNESCO (INCCU) at Pune, (a cultural capital of Maharashtra State) India from 21st to 24th February 2020. Traditional dialects, material culture, artistic production, performing arts etc. are becoming endangered or have already got vanished on large scale. As a result, almost all the countries around the world are suffering from various problems. To address these problems, we have to search intangible culture around the globe. We have to clarify nature of Intangible Cultural Heritage conservation and we have to develop a model to show use of ICH for sustainable development. To bring these things to reality, we have organized the conference My Cultural Identity – My Sustainable Development 2020. The aims and objectives of the conference are complementary with UNESCO’s 2003 convention. As you are an academician, we are requesting you to represent your culture by writing essay/ research paper for the conference.
