Mike is right, but what result you get will depend on your system's
horsepower. My P4-1.8 GHz desktop won't play much beyond titles in RT while
the P4- 3GHz notebook is much more responsive to composited segments. Same
RAM in both.

   hey glen,
i was wondering, i took a tutorial of AP 6.5 some time ago and when the
author was creating a movie with effects he would just drag the pointer over
the desired part and it would play. on my computer on the other hand, i have
to render my timeline {annoying!} and only then can it play! do you know
why?
