Thanks Maarten,

LOL Ok.. Knuckle Martin just gave me this great explanation on making and animating
GIF's, and I had gotten the impression, from what I thought he was saying, that the
loop was a choice made during the creation of the GIF.

But you're doing it with a HTML tag.. I thought it might be web based.. Thank you..
With these 2 answers I should have no problems creating some cool gifs..I'll just add
these answers to my time-line and blend them seamlessly, and I should be able to
render out some cool gifs (joke)... thanks again

Well, Frank, the most simple thing is to use a loop command in the
HTML, there were you call the animated GIF.

In Dreamweaver: Layer > Timeline > add behaviour (= show animated
GIF) > click Loop.
Use this when you need a timeline anyway.

More simple:
<IMG SRC="animated.gif" LOOP=INFINITE">
See
http://www.idocs.com/tags/images/_IMG_LOOP.html f.e.

Just today I am going to make this animated GIF (all done with the
great help of this group!)
http://home.planet.nl/~thiel393/nature/Test.htm
(audio & video not yet well synchronised)
run (loop) instead of the pic in
http://home.planet.nl/~thiel393/nature/index.htm
To be more exact: The whole homepage is one JPG in a layer, links
being hotspots. I shall make a new layer above the pic & insert the
animated GIF there &c. Suppose/hope this works.

Maarten
