What kind of scanner are you using? My latest scanner is much faster than my older non usb scanner which has also made it more practical to get larger files in the first place. I scanned about 75 pics in maybe half an hour a few days ago. Most were ok as there were and a few needed some digital trickery...but not 4 hours worth.
