When I was learning Premiere 6 a few years back almost all of my transition problems were caused by settings and length errors. I'd have an A-B transition set B-A, or I'd have the transition too short or too long for the overlap between clips on V1-a and V1-b. I would check yours zoomed in on the timeline to be sure about the overlap and direction. Another cause of transition trouble is leaving some one-frame bit of garbage behind, from a razor cut, or from trying to change a transition length by dragging it. This kind of junk isn't visible when you're working in seconds. You need to zoom to eight frames or so before you will see these left-overs. All of these mistakes will cause visible flickering in the end product.

I use winXP and premiere 6, I inserted some clips in to premiere and add number of transitions of fade in and out between clips and I exported the timeline as avi file everything is working fine but some of the transitions does not work properly i.e. when fading ends it shows flicking of an image even I checked the transitions and also in the preview it does not show the flicking errors. Can any body tell me that what is wrong with my project Thanks in advance ------------------------ Yahoo! Groups Sponsor --------------------~--> Make a clean sweep of pop-up ads. Yahoo!
