I always resize my photos to 720x480 prior to importing them into Premiere
Pro.

I'm not sure your dealing with an aspect ration problem.

Your really dealing with a resolution problem. Any decent digital camera
today,
takes pictures at a much higher resolution than NTSC.

Maintaining aspect ratio just keeps your photo dimensionally proportioned.

It doesn't do anything for it size/resolution of the photo.

Could someone please tell me how to turn on the "Maintain Aspect
Ratio" control. Everytime I import a digital picture from my
camera, the picture does an extreme close-up and I can't figure out
how to zoom out. Thanks! - Ski
