Before adding clips to your timeline, go to the Project pull-down menu at
the top of the screen and select "General."  About two-thirds of the way
down is a check box labeled "Scale clips to project dimensions when adding
to sequence."  Make sure this is checked and all items that you add to the
timeline will now be resized automatically by Premiere Pro.

hey guy first time post.... man you guys have help me so many times great
info 
.... but here is my problem using photos and some are to big and not fitting
in 
the screen they seem to be too big how do i resize them or if theres a
setting 
that i can adjust also with video i have a clip i want to use but its not
big 
enough for the screen its showing much smaller then the rest??? any ideas 
would be great.....
