you can make a 640 x 480 (vga resolution) video on quicktime that lasts 6
minutes using less than 10 mb at 50 bps and at the end of the process use
maximum compression with winzip

Well - I got 20+ MB on QuickTime - what codec/tools do I need to get better
results.
If anyone has any tips for optimizing for WMV format- would appreciate it -
or some reasonably prices tools to compress - not looking at spending $500/-
at this time...any suggestions?
Thanks.

Michael, what tool(s) do you use to encode to .mov? The only ones I know of
that will produce small, high quality files are Cleaner 6 and Sorenson
Squeeze, and I don't believe the former is supported anymore, while Squeeze
is USD$500. If you've found something else that works I really would like to
know about it. I gave up trying with QT years ago because of file size
results.
