All DVD Video uses MPEG-2 as a video file format. Premiere 6.5 will create
it using the Main Concept MPEG encoder plug-in that comes with it, although
you are wise to upgrade it to the 1.3b version, which I believe is still
available, and free, from the Adobe site. You can encode a single combined
stream (Video and Audio) or separate streams, depending upon how you work
and what DVD authoring tool you use. I don't know iDVD but I'd be surprised
if it wouldn't accept a multiplexed (video and audio) MPEG-2 file from
Premiere.

What is the best export method to use when using iDVD to burn your
dvd? What export method in Premiere 6.5 works best with it for the
best quality??? If anyone can tell me I would greatly appreciate it!!!
