Rick-- 

It sounds like you are viewing audio units. (Those 5 zeros are audio 
samples, in the ten thousandths.)

To go back to the video units, click on the wing menu in the timeline 
(that's the little circle with an arrow in the upper right corner of the 
timeline window), and uncheck audio units.
