Ok here goes, I've been using Premiere since 4.1 and I've been very
happy with 6.5 but I'm trying Premire Pro on this lastest project.
- I created a Seq( Seq 1) about 8 sec long, tinted it, lens flared
it.
- I put this seq into a second seq (Seq 2) as track 1
- On track 2, we're still in Seq 2, I add a short 5 sec clip, scale
it to 40% and track it left to right (off-screen to off-screen), add
clip fx to give it a border.
Here's the problem, in 6.5 I'd de-interlace everything and the
motion of the 5 sec clip interlaced looked perfect on playback as it
ziped across the screen. I'm trying it in PPro and I'm getting all
kinds of interlace problems. I've tried alot of variations
like 'Flicker Removal', 'de-interlace', but I can't get it to look
clean. Is there a 'frame blending' mode?
I'm using Microsofts DV as the capture/project codec.(My old
favorite is Quicktime)
My solution, as of right now, was to use After Effects & Microsofts
DV (AE is a great software too)...but how do I get that interlace
problem fixed in PPro? Has anybody had problems like this?
I am using a P3 with XP Home...
