The thoughts that occur to me are wondering if divx is the codec for 
your project and number two do you have the divx codec on your 
computer...BTW MPEG's are not considered a good thing to use in premiere 
even though they may appear to work for you at this point...best to find 
a solution that still allows you to work in avi,
