If you are working on a PC, by any chance is the hard drive you are
capturing to formatted as FAT32? the FAT32 format has a max file size
of 4Gb, which you will use up fairly quickly. The answer is to back up
the data on the drive - hopefully it isn't the drive with Windows and
your software on - and reformat it as NTFS, which has a max file size
so high you will never reach it.

The alternative is to make sure none of your captured files exceeds
4Gb in size.
