I've been reading this thread the last two day and have a slightly different
scenario. I've been making video yearbooks for our school and videos depicting
a year in scouts. In the case of the school video - only first names are used
and the video is sold via the school (a very small price) to those family
members that want it. However, in the scouts video - this has been shown
numerous times at annual events to show the families what they did that year
but also as a recuriting tool to prospective families - no names are used.

To date, there has never been an issue with having permissions but it is always
in the back of my mind since these videos are mostly of children. Also, the
videos have all been photos - no video - and the photos come from different
sources/parents. So, at what point should I be getting permissions or do I
need them at all?

Thanks!

Michelle
