I play the clips on the windows player and it looks fine. Perfect! Then I
opened premiere pro so I could edit....the clips imported and conformed. I
dragged the clip to the timeline and started doing the editing. THen I went to
the end of the clip and previewed the clip for the last minute mark and it was
stuck on one frame. The same frame plays up to the end of the clip. It makes a
loud sound like it is on pause from the 5 min mark to the end of the clip. I
didn't notice it because the fclip is perfect up until the 5 min mark on the
timeline.

I tried a few other clips to see if maybe that one had a problem but then none
of them worked properly. Very weird! I have switched over to MOVIEDV suite for
the past two days and don't seem to have any problems with my clips or editing.
BUt I would like to use premiere since I bought it.

Right now I HATE PREMIERE PRO!! =(

around the 5 min mark?

Hi...I was wondering if anyone has had any problems importing DV-AVI's
into premiere pro? I captured with windows movie maker and then
imported to premiere pro and now all the clips get locked around the 5
min mark. I have an athlon 64, AX300 video card and plenty of ram. Am
I missing something? IS there a setting that I am not aware of?
