<<That was quite the lesson..>> Well, thank you.... I do my best (not very often, mind you... it's just I feel strongly about the Boris products... I love them!)
<<Now how does Boris compare to AE? Do you use AE at all?>> I own the latest AE Professional. Last year I went on an intensive 2 day course to learn it, but I didn't find the way it worked easy to grasp. To be honest I felt that if I didn't feel comfortable with it after two days, I wasn't going to devote any more time to it. All the course really did for me was to give me a good working knowledge of what was possible to do with it, so that I'd know what I could expect if I hired someone else to work on it for me. I also hired an editor who knew it well... while he was here, he'd do stuff in AE, I'd do stuff in Boris. Since he left three months ago (to move onto the bright lights of Manchester) I've opened AE once (to update something he'd done), while using Boris daily. The big difference for me is that Boris opens from my PPro timeline, affecting clips on my timeline. There's nothing external. There's time limited trials of the Boris products.. everyone should give them a go! Wow, Linda That was quite the lesson.. and brief too, lol. I looked at the boris interface within premiere before, and geez, its a whole different language it seems. If took you a long time to learn it, then I'm glad I didn't commit to learning it. Like I always say.. I don't think I'll live long enough to learn all the software I'd like to know.
