Husen,
What version of AP do you have? 6.5 & later versions have an MPEG encoder so
you can create the type of files you need to author a DVD.

Hi Jim,
Thank you very much for your response. I am starting out in video editing and
you put me at ease on my first step. Now, how do I put a`2 Hr DV on a DVD,
after I do my editing in AP, so I can play it on a DVD player?
Thanks,
Husen

An hour of standard DV video consumes about 13GB of hard drive space.
Sounds like you captured it correctly.
There's no way to fit an hour of DV into 2.5GB...unless you first
compress it into MPEG-2, as you would for a DVD or something.
