Alrighty, you guys are right, I was merely looking at the numbers not multiplying it. I am creating a senior video for the class of 2006. I am using Adobe Premiere 6.5 for this endeavor. I am a newbie and my technical vocabulary is on an amateur level. I have been working on this video for months using photos. A mother gave me a DVD with a collection of senior events. The mother recorded the movies using her new Digital Recorder (I am not sure what brand). I have watched the video on Media Player on my computer and the movie looks fine. When I try to import the files nothing shows when I open the folder. The files are VCD files. I think that I have to change these files to MPEG files. I know this is probably a simple and common problem but I have searched for the answer to my problem for 6 hours and I am frustrated to no end. Can I convert the file? Do I have to purchase extra software to convert the movie? Can this even be done? I know that many of you are tired of such trivial questions, but you are reading words from a desperate woman!
