Christmas is over with and now I have time to sit back down and see if I can follow some of the advice given to me to correct the jerky playback from a week ago.
I turned off my digital camcorder. There are 3 selections: Off, VCR, Camera. So, after capturing, I turned the knob to the OFF position, and it played back perfectly. No problems in playback, editing, or anything. It's strange, none of the books I have on Premiere, nothing online from the Adobe website, or from the HELP section in the software gives you the warning: "make sure that your camcorder is turned off after you finish capturing." I guess they just assume that any beginner would intuitively know that. John [Non-text portions of this message have been removed] ------------------------ Yahoo!
