When you say that you are starting out with LOTS of space, how much is
'lots'?
How much space do you expect your 96 minute movie to occupy and how much
does it occupy when the disc full error stops the save?

While saving my 96 minute movie to an avi file, my computer keeps
having a 'disk full' error half way through the save. I'm starting
