Hi

Totally off topic, but someone may be able to help.

My Panasonic HDD DVD writer is great, but any material with a 16:9 flag
(which plays fine on the Hard drive or Ram disc) isn't written to a DVD-R,
which means if it's played on a standard TV that doesn't have a letterbox
facility the picture is stretched, as the DVD player believes it to be a 4:3
disc.

Does anyone know an EASY programme on the PC that will copy a whole disc
(without losing quality) but has the facility to add a 16:9 flag (can be
universal for the whole disc, including menus, I don't care).

I know I could transfer it to an avi, re-encode in Encore & add the flag
there, but that is a heck of alot of time and work.

Hope you can help!

Phil B
