We used to work with Western Digital externals exclusively, but we rand into problems with a couple of them. We are using Maxtor's right now. We have not had a problem yet. We use approximately 15 to 20 different externals all over the office. We have not used any Seagate externals, but I do know that Seagate is pretty much top of the line. I hope that helps you in your decision.

I am working with Premiere so I guess I am in topic, but this questions relates to External Drives. I figured this would be the best place to ask. I want to add an external drive to my system, and am wondering what people have found to be the most reliable and workable units. I am vacillating between a Maxtor, Seagate, or Western Digital 350-400gig External. Any input would be a great help!
