Hi David,

So Do you think if I get a second Hard Disk would be much better?

If you only have the one hard drive you mention that is likely a large part
of your problem. Smooth editing requires at least a second drive so that
every file and every effect isn't calling on the same drive, which is also
being called by the operating system in the background. An external
  firewire drive would help considerably.

  Hi guys,

Sometimes when I apply for a Premiere Pro video effect it became very
slowly and I spend a lot of time to finish the video. I'm working with a HP
  laptop: P4 3.2 HT, 100GB (4.200rph), 10048mb, Radeon IGP 9000 (128mb
  shared)...

Does someone know why it happens with my Premiere Pro? Can some of you help
  with this issue?
