Not all of the information. My hunch tells me that 1.x stores media information
in a separate location than 2.x, for each clip in the Project panel. I'm going
off of the assumption that the only info each clip needs is a media in, media
out, and tape name (and of course clip name). I'm just curious if those fields
are populated when viewing in list mode.

Do you mean manually filling out all the clips information? This is a large
project spanning over five miniDV-tapes so that would be such a chore!

Sune-- did it work to try and manually add Media In/Media Out/Tape Name
information while the Project panel was in List view?

    Ahh!
So that's the reason I couldn't understand Julians suggestion. Much
    appreciated anyway!
