Hi Oying,

The TV standard in England is PAL (625 lines 50 fields) like Australia and
most of the rest of the world. I think that was the question you were
asking.
You say that you are "planning to render the project on PAL after editing
......" Do you mean that you will be converting your edited project into
PAL? Does this mean that it is not in PAL to start with?

If you are converting from NTSC to PAL you will need to use some software
(maybe your NLE software) to do the conversion. You don't say what you plan
to use so it is difficult to guess if you will have a problem.

The good news is that most DVD players in the UK will play PAL and NTSC
discs but if you wish to be sure that it work you are welcome to mail me a
disc and I will check that it plays in the UK for you.

Subject: DVD UK Region Standard?

Hi Guys!

A client wants to have his final copy of a project burned in DVD
which can be played in England, I'm planning to render the project on
PAL after editing and burn it using ULEAD. Will this be enough? Or do
I still have to do something else? Your views will be highly
appreciated! Thanks and more power!
