I hope I am in the right section of this Forum for this question. I
am new to the Forum and a beginner at Photoshop Elements 4.0 and
Premier Elements 2.0. I have a HP laptop computer with plenty of
memory both RAM and Hardrive. After painstaking and completing a
slide show project with audio on Photoshop Elements 4.0, I have made
numerous attempts to burn a dvd to no avail. I have followed the
instructions to the letter and purchased additional books on this
subject matter, followed the same instructions and have also
completed the on line training class and still unable to burn a dvd.
I with the hardware or the burner and that the problem must be with
the software. While attempting to burn a dvd, the Photoshop 4.0
program automatically transfers the project to the Premier Element
2.0 program. The system goes through the encoding media without a
problem but when it gets to the "Burning Disc 1 of 1 [Burning in
Progress]" the entire system stops mid-way (always at the same
location). When I cancel the operation I am advised that by canceling
I may damage the dvd, and I am further unable to get out of the
program unless I totally log off. I have gone through 8 dvd's without
success. The slide show is 7 minutes long, consisting of 58 photos
and transitions with audio. This adobe software was highly
recommended to me for that purpose, however I am totally disappointed
with the results so far. For the life of me, I cannot figure out what
I am doing wrong... Any help would greatly be appreciated.
