That's the confusing part, go with a fast system or Matrox hardware
system.... What I would spend on a Xeon system with dual core processors can
be more than the Matrox solution... But what is the best for HDV?
I have Sony Z1U camera and have played with HDV on my present system and
it is painstaking, reminds me of the day with Premier 1.2 and a 486
computers....{$5,000 for a computer and a 170 meg esdi hardrive with a 14400
modem.} hours of rending simple dissolves etc.
I am going to do some more looking before I purchase.. Either way I will
need a new computer....
Thanks for the info
