I'm using Premiere 6.5.

I taped a theater piece with 4 cameras. Then, in order to set up for
editing, I did a straightforward PIP using the transform effect - following
pretty much exactly the instructions of the Wrigley tutorial. (I used this
before with 3 cameras and it worked perfectly.)

So the four pictures are in the 4 quadrants. Then I took a look. Everything
is fine until about 57 minutes into the video. Then suddenly, the picture in
the upper left hand quadrant "invades" the lower left hand quadrant, so that
the whole left hand side is taken by what was the upper left hand quadrant
before. This continues until that particular camera finishes, and then the
lower left hand quadrant reappears, with black space in the upper left hand
quadrant, like it should be.

So I'm trying to figure out what happened. The first thing that comes to
mind, of course, is that somehow I accidentally put in key frames. Well, I'm
pretty sure that I have them turned off -- and even if I *did* have them
accidentally on, I don't think it would behave that way: I think the switch
would be gradual, and this is quite sudden. It seems to be happening only on
that camera, because as I said, when that camera finishes, the lower left
one "shines through" again and is correct.

This appears to me that Premiere suddenly "went nuts" at that point and
calculated wrong. But of course experience tells me that programs don't just
"go nuts" that often, so it's worth trying to think about what might have
happened other than Premiere simply "going nuts".

Anybody ever seen anything like this before?

Thanks,

John
